Subject: Merchants Requesting ClientLine Sign-on Information
When a merchant requests a ClientLine sign on, their Tax ID and DDA must match the same information that is currently found in First Data systems. In the event that this information does not match, the merchant’s request will be denied. Merchants would then need to re-submit a request with their correct information through ClientLine.
Agents fielding merchant inquiries on this topic should advise merchants of the required fields above.

Subject: PIN Debit Merchant Enhancement (Moving to a single Funding Time)
At IGNITION 2016 Agents expressed their desire to create a single cut time (credit and debit) for merchants that accept PIN debit. With an enhancement being implemented this weekend, we are happy to say that your voices have been heard and this issue will be addressed. Merchants accepting PIN debit will move to a single funding time (7 pm ET).Currently, merchants that accept PIN Debit report difficulty reconciling batch reports to their funding because CardConnect Paradise has two funding cut times – one for debit and another for credit. After this weekend’s release merchants that accept PIN debit will have one funding time which, in turn, will make it easier to reconcile daily processing. The new, single funding time, will sync up the merchant’s debit and credit batches to allow both to be funded simultaneously – versus a day delayed for PIN Debit.
No action is needed by Agents or merchants as a result of this enhancement. This notice is to provide awareness of the improved merchant experience.
